I've bought two of these for 2 birthdays. One for someone who is much like an uncle a couple years ago and one for my friend recently. Both love to cook and grill and I was happy to provide a cool experience for them as well as a solid gift that's practical and unique. My friend liked the box itself and plans on keeping, I believe. Uncle uses his fairly regularly.

I ordered this crate for my husband as his Christmas gift and he went nuts! Such a neat idea opening the crate and he loved every item inside the crate. If your man is a griller this is a perfect gift! So unique and fun watching them open the crate.

This has to be the most inventive and fun gift I have ever received and I am 53. Had a blast trying to figure out how to open the crate and of course there were no instructions. Perfect man gift. Especially good for the man who has had everything. Great job putting these together. They are not easy to open providing wives with hours of endless amusement watching us men crack the case open.

My old man loves to cook but is tired of the same old spices and BBQ junk. He had never heard of the Salt block so this was the perfect gift! Comes with a bunch of useful gadgets and tools including a cookbook for the block. So glad i went with this as his birthday gift. He is so excited to use it. My husband loves to 'reverse sear' his ribeye and loves even more to show off his grill-skillz for his friends. This kit is perfect for him to up his ante! He had heard of Mancrates so when it arrived, he was SO EXCITED! I added in the Mount Rubsmore spice kit, which was the frosting on the cake. He said his Mancrate was his best V-day gift ever!

My husband loved his "manly man" crate gift. Better yet he loves grilling with the salt block so I benefit from it also! He brags to everyone about the great gift.

My brother loved it, excited about the crate - even opened it carefully so he could use it for other stuff. He really like the fold-able spatula (which looks like a pocketknife). The salt plate was great for all kinds of cooking. Overall a very happy brother!

I can't tell you enough about how fun it was to give this gift crate to my boyfriend. It was my Christmas gift to him, and while trying to brag about it without giving away too much info, I mentioned that it almost weighed 20lb. His buddies googled what it could be and came up with 80 sticks of butter, and that sent him on a 3 day mission to find me a "heavier" gift to compete. Since we dont live together, he opened it at home. I got a text that said " This is cool as he**! It smells delicious! Its a legit wooden crate! Now excuse me while I run outside to get a hammer. I gotta get this crate open!". He used the hammer to hit the pry bar. He cant wait to cook us steaks on it, the switch-blade spatula was a super cool treat. Thank you! We're stoked!

I got this for a gift and it was awesome. The "gift wrapping" was such a cool idea. Customer service is second to NONE.

This crate was packed with the most awesome goodies for grilling! The spatula that folds like a pocket knife was probably the coolest thing, but my guy loved the circle skewers, salt plate, and mini thermometers, too!!

Also, there was a snafu with my order. I ordered way back in January for a July delivery, and after it didn't get delivered the customer service person was SO helpful and awesome!! I can't recommend Man Crates enough!

The Everest grill crate was awesome! The friend that I sent it to was a smart feller though, he knew to open the crate easily-he just needed to turn it upside down. He saw all the glue at the top and knew to avoid it. He is looking forward to trying out the salt block as this is one way of grilling that he has not tried yet.

My husband loves to grill, and therefore didn't necessarily need the typical grilling items. I LOVE that this crate allowed him to do some experimenting with a completely different cooking style (and he does too). The recipe books, circle kabobs, high quality folding spatula, and grill glove (can you handle a salt rock with it??) were all great additions to his grilling tools. The duct tape upgrade was worth the look on his face, too!!!

This is the first crate I have ordered. My husband loves to grill and the family loves his cooking. He has everything he needs and we have gotten him everything he wants. When he saw his crate, he was surprised. The pleasant challenge of opening the crate was worth the wait. He loved every item in the box. We used the salt block for Father's Day- scallops, shrimp, chicken kabobs, sweet potato and corn on the cobb. It was all delicious.
